To check which software version you have on your PCM 3.1 - press "info" and then "option" and select "Show system version" on the screen

N.B.
- Does not update maps
- Will only update within your hardware version of PCM 3.1 - i.e 2.xx to 2.47 / 3.xx to 3.43 / 4.xx to 4.76
- It is recommended to run this update with a battery charger connected to the vehicle or the vehicle running to ensure voltage stability
- The update disk will be automatically recognised by the PCM - when the update loads you must click the "Confirm" button to begin the update process - the update process must not be interrupted - if the process is interrupted the PCM may go into emergency boot mode
- Original Porsche software on aftermarket media

- This does not fix constant rebooting issues, for constant rebooting issues we recommend our PCM 3.1 repair kit which includes a new pre-formatted hard drive and this DVD
