Porsche PCM 3.1 Head Unit Radio Fix Repair Upgrade SSD Kit Cayenne Macan Panamera 911 Carrera Boxster Cayman

Hard drive repair/upgrade kit for any Porsche vehicle with a PCM 3.1 stuck in emergency update mode/boot loop or constantly rebooting that has lost functionality or to prevent future loss of functionality. PCM 3.1 units have a standard mechanical hard drive unit located inside them. If this hard drive stops working or becomes corrupted the PCM unit will constantly re-boot or be stuck in emergency update mode- this kit can restore your PCM's functionality. This kit can also upgrade a PCM 3.1 hard drive before the mechanical drive fails.

Kit includes:
- New SSD (solid state hard drive) to replace old or corrupt mechanical drive - please note this kit is only suitable for PCM 3.1 devices with a SATA connector (see images for SATA hard drive example) approx 2011 model onwards. For 2010/some 2011 models a different kit is required - please get in touch with us
- Update DVD which must be used after the new hard drive has been installed
- Maps installed for Australia and New Zealand

Please note:
- Some custom settings/stored addresses may also be lost and require re-configuration
- Some early vehicles with PCM 3.1 may have an older style hard drive connector - this repair kit will not fit those PCM units - please get in touch with us if your PCM has an older style hard drive connector (approx 2010 / MY2011/MY2012)
- Drive comes pre-loaded with navigation maps from Australia and New Zealand
